Your Duties
Own the performance, sales, customer feedback of the physical and online store.
Develop and train team handling operations of store.
Be the model to team by demonstrating highest customer centric standards.
Responsible for instore & online inventory, forecast, assortment, replenishment and price for our customers.
Prevent unknown loss of merchandise.
Manage claims.
Ensure compliance to company policies and safe practices.
Oversee all functions related to merchandising, movement of stock to display racks, forecast stockouts to Buyer to ensure replenishment without stockout, organising promotional events and displays.
Ensure compliance to all regulations related to sanitation and safety including FSSAI, HACCP and compliance requirements related to weight and measures, labour laws, local government bodies. Ensure timely renewal of all such required certifications and handle internal and external audits from entities.
Stay up to date on related laws for physical and online store.
Draft and manage best practice knowledge documentation.
Initiate supplier payments and filing of tax returns.
Oversee that shelves are stocked, cleaned, rotated with no expired items, maintain accurate signage and pricing.
Ensure highest quality products are available in bakery and other sections.
Oversee logs like cleaning schedule and ensure a safe and fresh ambience.
Handle instore, online, on-call customer order escalations.
Monitor and update social media sites of company and reply to reviews.
Develop strategy and growth of formats and categories by being current with customer trends.
Develop strategies for merchandising in-store & online presentation.
Predict future trends and execute viable opportunities.
Design and execute community outreach programs.
Exceptional work ethic and integrity.
Background and Experience
Willingness to learn about food produces, grocery items, nutritional information, passion or experience in fresh food.
Position requires a degree.
Excellent communication skills, team player with leadership skills.
Proficiency in oral and written English required.
Medium skilled in use of word, excel, PowerPoint, and computer ordering systems.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with least supervision.
Willingness to work on flexible schedules and in job rotation opportunities and reskilling.
Service minded.
Passed after March 2017 in Commerce, Retail Management, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Culinary Arts & Catering Technology, Food Science & Quality Control, Food Technology or other Degree.
