Your Purpose: Work hand in hand with independent farm producers, distributors, manufacturers to ensure quality, freshness, nourishment, correct price points of produces sourced. Ensure timely ordering, replenishment, warehousing of food produces, personal care products and other product categories. The incumbent will support selection and development of direct farm producers, distributors and suppliers. The individual will coordinate in drafting, signing of annual material price list and producer agreements.

Your Scope
Negotiation and delivering cost saving, manage supplier relationship and development, Track and guide supplier performance, resolve supplier issues, implement supplier collaboration ideas.
Spend Managed: INR 2 cr+
Your Duties
Responsible for supplier communications, onboarding, Request for Quote process, Purchase Order issue, quality programs, certifications, transportation, delivery assurance, supplier invoice management and reporting. Ensure timely orders for efficient inventory turns.
Manage inventory audits, spoilage, returns and scrapping process.
Manage Cost of Poor Quality recovery from producers.
Ensure compliance with all regulations related to food safety and personal care products.
Develop strategy and growth of formats and categories by being current with customer trends.
Develop new product lines.
Exceptional work ethic and integrity.
Background and Experience
Familiarity with food produces, nutritional information and passion to gain knowledge in same.
Position requires a degree or diploma.
Effective communicator in written and oral form. Proficiency in oral and written English required.
Medium skilled in use of word, excel, PowerPoint, and computer ordering systems.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with least supervision.
Willingness to work on flexible schedules and in job rotation opportunities and reskilling.
Service minded.
Passed after March 2018 in Food Science & Quality Control, Food Technology, Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Culinary Arts & Catering Technology, Retail Management or other Degree/Diploma.
